A Japanese pottery sake pitcher, created by Kimura Yoshiro, decorated with incised stylized birds and turquoise color glaze. Marked Kimura Yoshiro. Using traditional
(hekiyu) blue glaze, Kimura has produced a large body of work exclusively in variations of blue. This piece is in its original wood box.

 

Condition consistent with age and use.
